Mike Cottrell

Mike has been a long standing RPA member, now serving a third term on the board.  He is currently a Sr. Vice-President in Commercial Lending with The Equitable Bank. Mike has been in the middle market banking space for over 25 years with a history of funding millions in real estate transactions.

His focus has been in the Multi-Family & Self-Storage, funding loans from $500K-$20.0 million all across Wisconsin.  Mike has extensive experience with SBA lending (7a & 504), business start-ups, manufactures, developers, and all areas of business banking.

He has previous experience as a District Manager in multi-store retail sporting goods and as a Regional VP in banking. His past work experiences have given him strong leadership and personnel development skills, with an understanding of managing the bottom line.

Finally, Mike has been married to his wife Kelly for 31 years and they have two sons. He is a former college athlete and has a long history of coaching youth and high school athletes. No longer coaching, he spent his last 3 seasons (2013-2015) as an Assistant Varsity coach of the Arrowhead Baseball team. He now spends his time enjoying Golf and the Woods & Waters of WI, competing in Bass Tournament’s on a regular basis.
